Inspiring the music industry to protect wildlife

Our aim

We're calling on singers, guitarists, drummers, bassists, and more to make the #Promise4Wildlife and inspire their fans to protect animals. It's a powerful, positive message intended to shift mindsets and make an impact.

By making the promise and sharing it on social media, our musical idols can lead the way to a better world for wildlife.

Why this matters

Featuring captive wild animals in music videos and performances is glamourising a system of suffering.

Every day wild animals are snatched from their natural habitats and bred in captivity to supply the lucrative global wildlife trade.

Stuffed into tanks, tubs and crates for the exotic pet market, abused and forced to perform for entertainment, or tortured and killed for traditional medicines and ‘luxury’ products. Whether it’s legal or illegal, the wildlife trade causes suffering.

The music industry can have a positive part to play in ending this.
